A very enjoyable and close competition played in excellent weather on a Wells course in superb condition. The quality of the greens showed in the low scoring, and facilitated a tight competition with only 10 shots between first and last place for the field of 42 teams. Highlight of the day was Wells member Mark Edgell winning nearest the pin on hole 7 with a hole in one. Well played Mark.
