The start was confounded by fog with a short delay. Once the fog lifted, leaving a heavy dew, the day became very warm (29 deg).  An extra water point at the 9th tee was appreciated, as well as our usual welcome at the ‘Halfway House’ on the 12th.

It was great to see players who had travelled some distance to play here.  From Yorkshire, Staffordshire, S.Wales, Berkshire, Dorset, Devon.

The overall leading score with 44 points and winning 1st Visitor prize were Michael Gacon & Jaryd Officer from Llanwern GC. They were delighted with their day.

First home team were Steve Barrow and Dylan Pugh 44 pts (C/B), second Home team,  Cath Levell & Graham Hall 44 pts (C/B) and third Home team Paul Lewer & Jackie Cohen 42 Pts (C/B)

Second Visitors prize were Geoff Rooke & Rod Vowles, Cannington GC, 41 Pts and third were Martin Stephens & Dave Meredith, Burnham & Berrow GC, 40 Pts.

There were 15 ‘Two’s’ scored,  13 of which were home players but 4 did not enter the sweepstake.
